Manufacturing in New York State
As we see the changing face of our Manufacturing companies, Assemblyman Reilich keeps in touch by spending time learning about new manufacturing techniques. He is seen here visiting a 20th century manufacturing company many of these advanced technology manufacturing plants are popping up throughout the state. We need to realize that manufacturing is still alive in New York but because these new technologies - often the jobs take far fewer workers to produce a product. Assemblyman Reilich is proud to serve as a member of the Assembly Task Force on Manufacturing.
Monroe BOCES Visits Albany
Each year Monroe 2 BOCES makes a visit to the State Capital and they always bring a few of their students to give them a glimpse of Albany in action. Assemblyman Reilich is seen here with some of the students discussing how bills are presented to the floor and sharing with them some of the history of the Assembly Chamber.
Brockport Fire Department
"We must never forget" Assemblyman Reilich takes time each year to commemorate the tragic events of September 11. Each year the Brockport Fire Department hosts a 24 hour vigil and many ceremonies to allow citizens to gather as a community and mourn the loss of so many lives in the senseless acts that took place that sad September morning.
Soap Box Derby Contribution
Assemblyman Reilich believes every child should have the opportunity to experience the joy of competition. Therefore, he donated a Soap Box Derby Car to be used by the Rochester Soap Box Derby Organization. Bill has had a long relationship with Rochester Soap Box Derby, he also donated cars and the use of a mobile trailer for the Durand Eastman Derby.
Dairy Day in Albany
Although not sporting his “Drink Milk” mustache, Assemblyman Reilich addresses the participants at Dairy Day, a favorite in Albany each year. Everyone is welcomed with Dairy products from throughout the state, everything from flavored milks to good old fashioned ice cream cones. New York takes great pride in its Dairy Industry.
Support Our Troops Drive
Assemblyman Reilich loading boxes for the troops. Started in 2007 this has become an annual event from Memorial day until Veterans Day. The first year over 100 boxes were sent to our troops. There was such an out pouring of support from the community that we were able to send boxes to our local Veterans Outreach center. Many schools participate as well as Auntie Annie's Pretzel shop in the malls. Beginners to pro bowling shop as well as Dewey Gardens pitched in.
Eagle Scout Court of Honor
One of the nearly 25 annual Eagle Scout Ceremonies that are in our district. Assemblyman Reilich and Senator Robach are offering congratulations to the Scout.
